Tateisi Science and Technology Foundation

The Tateisi Science and Technology Foundation was established in 1990. Funding was provided through a combination of OMRON shares held by company founder Kazuma Tateisi and then-chairman Takao Tateisi and cash contributions by the company.

Performing research and international exchange that promotes harmony between humans and machines in the fields of electronics and information engineering, the Foundation aims to realize the optimum social environment from the perspectives of both technological innovation and human valuing.

Assistance for 26 research themes and 4 international exchange themes has been distributed as of FY2012. The total number of cases of assistance to date is 747.
